Summer time fun!

Fun in the sun baby!!! Saturday evening we we're invited to a birthday party in Strop City by one of my friends that I grew up with. We don't get together as often as we would like, but it was so good and fun to see her and her family again! When we arrived, Chloe Grace went straight for the play room and came out with this little ketchup bottle and wouldn't let go of it on the way outside!

OH but wait!! What is all that going on over there???!

That's "EEEEEEEEEEE" and "T" on that big blue thingy! I wanna do it too!

SOOO off we went and got our "kini" on and off we went! Would you just look at that belly? She don't miss a meal that's for sho!

Fun in the water! She LOVES the outside...like so much that if you go outside without her, she pitches one heck of a fit!

We've lost the bow at this point, so I guess she's ready to get brave and get after it!

YAY!! I'm almost at the big water thingy with the rest of the kids, but this little puddle will do for now!
So eventually Chloe Grace found her way to the "baby" slip and slide and boy, did she love that!

This is Luke, he is about two weeks younger than Chloe Grace. It's so funny because his dad and my dad are about the same age and Crystal and I are about the same age and have kids so it's just a little strange, but he is so stinkin cute!!

This water is so much fun!

Luke cracked me up! He would get so tickled when the water would shoot up in his face. He would just laugh and cut up!

OH here comes Ethan down the slide...he moved so fast I just barely got the tail end of him!

So he gets off, and here he comes over. I'm trying to get a cutsie picture of him but he insist that he MUST tell me about how FAST and how AWESOME he was coming off that slide!

"and I was at the top and then....."

"whewwwwsssshhhhhh, I came flying down like a torpedo and it was so cool and it was so fast..and and andddddd"

"it so so totally cool and I want to do it again...and uhmm ..well,...uhmmm I want to do this all day"

and here is is again, after about the 30th time going down the slide! I must say, I wished I had my suit I would have went down that sucker too!

So after the fun slide, it was then time to go grub on some NELA Johnny's pizza! MMMMMM UHMMMM, sho is good!

It didn't last long as you can see. Chloe Grace has a new fetish....and it's putting on any and every shoe she sees fit to put on! She was trying on all the kids shoes for size!

She was standing up trying to put this shoe on and lost her balance and over she went. She didn't try to get up, she just laid there playing with the shoe! LOL

I think it's sweet and so fun to see all the new things she is doing and trying! She will be 17 mths on the 14! I can hardly believe it! Thanks Crystal for inviting us! We had a blast and can't wait to get together again! Oh, and Happy Birthday Rachael!!!!!

1st Annual Jogging For Jake

Today I had the great privledge of being able to get out for the 1st annual Jogging for Jake! I am so happy that I was able to partcipate in this! Here we all are just hanging out at the start as we wait for the " Ready, Set GOOOOO!!" And we're off!

I met up with this chick while I was running, and now for the life of me can not rememember her name! I hate that!! We kinda were at the same pace so we talked a little while we jogged. It helped to pass the time and the HURT!

It was so stinking HOT outside, but ya know what? I kept asking myself "Why are you doing this Amy?" and self replied " Because Jake, his family and a whole lot of other families went through so much more than just running in the heat!" These families have/had to endure so many many many obsticales, challenges, and gut wrenching heart ache. I ran today in honor Jake, his family and all the other cancer families.

The guy in the blue next to me, can you see him? I'm not sure who he is but he was such great encouragement to me. He came up along the little patch of us runners saying "you can do this, don't stop now", just around the corner...come on....lets go!" so ...."GO" is what I did. I kicked it up in high gear and got after it!

Not far now!

Running, runnin and running...running, runnin and running!

Hot Dog! I see the finish line!

WOOT! Just around the corner now!!

Yes I can do this! I'm doing this!!

Not many steps more to go!

WHEWWWWWWWWW!! I did it! YES! This is a hidious picture of me finishing! Shows just how intense it was and the hair is just plain ole BAD! I did it though! I finished slow, but I FINISHED and I beat my time from my last 5K in Dallas about 2 months ago, so I'm pretty proud of myself, but a tad bit disappointed!

I had to find the air condition ASAP! It was so hot! I sucked that water down like it wasn't no bodies business!

Yeah, I'm smiling, really I am........ but how fake is this!!!?? Hahaa! I was just pooped!
I would just like to thank the Raborn/Massey/Groves family for allowing me to be just a small part of their and Jake's life. He was such a very special little boy that changed so many people lives, and someone I will always hold close to my heart. I will forever support and help in any cause for Jake in every way that I can!
Peace, Love and BELIEVE!!!!!

Happy Mother's Day!

Whewww whooo! Well I'm finally bloggin tonight...it's been since Easter! We have had so much going on, just hard to find the time. I will share these from today...would you look at this picture. Ladies and gentleman...this is a 5 generations picture! My lil memaw is still kicking it at 86 years old. You will see in counter clock wise order, My mom, her mom, myself, Chloe Grace and Memaw in the middle!
Just another shot! Chloe Grace wanted in Memaw's lap!

This is at church today. I had to get a photo before Chloe Grace got food all over her! Still hard to believe that I'm 27 years old with 4 children! Just blows my mind. I never thought that I would have the life that I do! So very blessed!

I'm not really sure as to why I didn't take a picture with my other kids today. For some reason they really don't like takin pictures with their momma no more. It's like pulling teeth! Does anyone else out there have that problem?!

Myself, my granny doll and my momma!

Chloe Grace know's when her picture is about to be taken. She will scrunch up her nose and eyes and just grin reallllllllllll big...like this!

My mom had to FORCE Ethan to take this picture. He was not at all into it like I said before, so this is what I got when I asked him to PLEASE take a picture!
I hope that all you mommies had an awesome blessed day with your families! I can't help be think of all those who have lost their momma or could not be with them. God made woman for so many wonderful things. Where would the world be without them?!
HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!
