HAPPY NEW YEARS 2009!!!

I know I know, I'm running really behind on the post, but I just wanted to share a thought or two with you before I officialy started blogging for the new year.
Today our pastor taught a message about letting go of the past and moving forward into the future. I know that I've struggled with letting go of the past, from thoughts, to sins, to hurts, but in Isaiah 43.25 it says: " I, I am the One who erases ALL your sins, for my sake; I will NOT remember your sins.
How awesome is that!? When we ask for forgiveness that is it....we just have to move on. WOW!

So how do we do that you might ask??
Remember some things....but forget other things!

Put God first, make the changes you can, and BELIEVE God to make the changes you can't!

Paul wrote in Philippians........ but I focus on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead.

I didn't make any new resolutions this year. I felt that I just needed to make some life changes, not just a yearly goal. My family and I had a wonderful 2008 with the birth of Chloe Grace and MANY MANY blessing (too many to count) that the Lord has given us. I am so thankful for the family and friends that we have and I look forward to spending another great year with them.
I am really excited and anxious to see what God has in store for us this year!!*

Christmas Day & Evening....

Next...we went to my Aunts house for C'mas lunch. This is my moms mom. Granny. She is always fun to be around. Madi got hooked up with a lot of girly stuff this year. She is so into the fashion these days!!

Tiffany was super excited that she got a gift card to build a bear. That seems to be the "in" thing this year. I'm thankful she wasn't sick this year!!

Chloe Grace got passed to a lot of people that day. She loves her Aunt April. She gets so excited and kicks her little legs and just smiles from ear to ear when April gets her.

My brother brought over his "girly" friend as my dad says. She HATES taken pictures so I had to sneak a few. Of course my brother (being the aggravating kind) thought it was funny!

Kaitlyn had a glitter in her hair for the days festivities. I think I would have put some in my hair too if she had shared!

Bless her heart.....my sweet great grandmother was really struggling. She has been in pretty bad shape and hanging in there since about two C'mas's ago. She just looks so pitiful. I admire her so much!

I can't help to chuckle a little bit looking at this picture. This is my step cousin's little girl. She is a hoot! She kept going from plate to plate to plate to get whatever food she liked from what everyone was eating!! So cute!

Here is miss Chloe Grace with her Nanna ( my mom) The flash was a bit bright for her eyes on this one. Oh, and don't you just LOVE the outfit. The bow is a bit large, but I bought the whole outfit from Etsy.com. I LOVE that site...check it out!

The more pictures I take the more I realize juts how big my baby boy is getting. He is just growing up to be a handsome little man!
Later that evening, we headed back to my house for C'mas with Timmy's side of the fam. Here again is the newest addition to the snow family, Anne Marie. The "new" is starting to fade and you can see her cute little features.
Ok on this picture...lord help us. Chloe opened up her gift from her mamaw which was one of those things you sit on and it spins, ( I know, she is a little young for it) but anyways, well the boys decided it would be fun to BOTH get on it and give it a whirl. Of course, they ended up fussing at each other after it was all said and done!

We'll end with this one...and what a big "one" it was. Ethan and Jackson got not one but TWO hu-monsterious remote control trucks. You could seriously fit a small person in one. I don't know where we will put all this stuff!

I hope that you all had a wonderful holiday season. There were some very unexpected surprises, but we had a great time with friends and family. God has surely blessed us this year.
