Happy Mother's Day!

Whewww whooo! Well I'm finally bloggin tonight...it's been since Easter! We have had so much going on, just hard to find the time. I will share these from today...would you look at this picture. Ladies and gentleman...this is a 5 generations picture! My lil memaw is still kicking it at 86 years old. You will see in counter clock wise order, My mom, her mom, myself, Chloe Grace and Memaw in the middle!
Just another shot! Chloe Grace wanted in Memaw's lap!

This is at church today. I had to get a photo before Chloe Grace got food all over her! Still hard to believe that I'm 27 years old with 4 children! Just blows my mind. I never thought that I would have the life that I do! So very blessed!

I'm not really sure as to why I didn't take a picture with my other kids today. For some reason they really don't like takin pictures with their momma no more. It's like pulling teeth! Does anyone else out there have that problem?!

Myself, my granny doll and my momma!

Chloe Grace know's when her picture is about to be taken. She will scrunch up her nose and eyes and just grin reallllllllllll big...like this!

My mom had to FORCE Ethan to take this picture. He was not at all into it like I said before, so this is what I got when I asked him to PLEASE take a picture!
I hope that all you mommies had an awesome blessed day with your families! I can't help be think of all those who have lost their momma or could not be with them. God made woman for so many wonderful things. Where would the world be without them?!
HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!

Big D Marathon 2009

I'm not sure where to start on this blog, there are so many things that I want to say, but just can't find where I need to start first!! We loaded up Saturday around lunch time and headed West on I20 to Dallas. The weather was beautiful and just so peaceful.

We arrived in the big "D" around 5 ish and was able to catch these pictures while driving. I always like to visit other cities , just makes you realize that there are so many different places and things to see in this world. So, once we arrived we met Jimmy, Sheila and the kids at the hotel, got dressed and headed out to carb up at Maggiano's Little Italy restaurant. After dinner we headed back for some rest and sleep to be up by 5 Sunday Morning. We woke up several times through out the night because the wind was blowing so hard. Now, I'm thinking in my mind, "OH Lord please don't let it rain!" Thankfully, the Lord answered my prayers on the rain part..... now, on the wind and cold, well I believe He was defiantly testing us. So we got up, got dressed and headed out to the FairPark to get ready for the race. Timmy and Jimmy had to start at a different spot than me because they started earlier. I finally found my place with all the other 5K'ers and waited for the start. I can not tell you how cold it was or how brutal that wind was, but I was not at ALL prepared for it. The day would have been perfect for running if the wind were not blowing at "100 mph"!! So off I went, I ran and I finished, THANK YOU JESUS!!! Afterwards, I called Sheila to meet up with her so that we could drive to meet the boys at the 20 miles marker.

We waited about 25 minutes and then looky at who came around the corner! I think he was happy to hear and see me shouting for him! 20 miles is a longggg way!
I HATE that this picture was blurry, but I think he was really excited. I asked him how he felt and he said great. Only 6 more miles to go. YOU CAN DO IT!!!!!
Not long after Timmy passed, here-a-come Jimmy. Looking good Jimboni, looking good. Keep it up not long now!!
So as the boys passed us, we jump back in the car and head back to the finish line. While we were waiting I got this picture of Anne Marie. She's getting to be such a big girl!
Mom forgot a hat, so we had to improvise. Sheila made the comment that she looked like a little Russian woman, she is cute no matter what she had on her little head! At least she was warm.
So, we had just enough time get out the car, run Jackson to the restroom and head back outside to the finish line. Sheila stayed up towards the front and I got back at the end so I could try to get good pictures. It wasn't very long and look who came trucking down the gate?!
Look at him go!!! I believe he was waving at Jackson.
Almost thereeeeeeeee!
YOU'RE FINISHED! Grab that metal and be proud you just finished 26.2 miles!! And under 4 hours! GREAT JOB! So proud of you!
Not even 5 minutes later Jimmy came trucking through too. Looking good Jimmy, just a few more steps!
Looks like he's done this a couple of times uh? Good strong finish Jimboni, AWESOME finish! You did great!!!
The rest of these are self explanatory. Just some pictures of us with our men! So very proud of their accomplishments. This was Timmy's 1st full marathon. He finished within the top 100!! Out of 38 men in their age group, he placed 8th. This was my 1st 5K. I finished in 41.53. Not bad for about a week of training on the treadmill!

Philippians 4:13
I can do all things through him who strengthens me.
Awesome picture of the boys.
The wind was STILL blowing! LOL
This is a really great picture of all of them together. This was Jimmy's 7th full marathon. That is 183.4 miles to be exact, not to mention all the running he does to train to be ready for these marathons. Jimmy finished # 11 in his age group out of 38 men. Awesome job Jimmy!
What an awesome memory and accomplishment for both of them to share together!

I've noticed that great friendships and bonds are made with people you don't even know or just may have met.....I believe this is because you are all striving for the same goal. In my eyes prospective, it almost seems as if they all support each other without having say a single word! Maybe it's because they know what a big deal it is to accomplish such a huge goal and to have ran a race of this magnitude. Just a pretty cool thing I believe!

Great job Timmy and Jimmy! Keep it up! You are inspiring so many to do such great things.

Love ya'll!

2 Timothy 4:7

7I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.

Thank you to all of those who supported us and prayed for all of us on this trip. You really don't know what it means to our family!

Walking??? What?

OK, so brace yourself for some cuteness!! Can you tell what this post is going to be about?! My sweet dumplin has hit yet another mile stone. Last week around Friday I believe, she just decided that she was no longer going to crawl, so up she went and away she goes! She also is a very brave lil toot! She is not afraid of trying to climb onto everything, including this rocking chair!

Along with walking and climbin she also can put away some grub. This lil heifer will not eat jar baby food anymore, with the exception of the fruit and mixed cereal. She is all about her pot pies, chicken nuggets, peas, pizza, cookies, mashed potatoes, and french fries.

Oh, check this out!! I picked up this bag at the dollar store. It had some funky giraffe on it that was not cute at all! SO, what did I do? I took it and had it monogrammed with this really cute butterfly and her name!

Just love the way it turned out. Not bad for 12 bucks uh??

Here is the evidence that she is walking. We went to my dad's house this past Sunday for lunch with the fam and this is what she did the WHOLE time!

Would you look at the excitement in this chicks face. She is just eatin it up! She thinks she is so big!

She has started carryin her baby doll and woobie around the house. I just think that is so sweet. Every little girl needs their baby doll and blanket! Maybe when we take the tassie it won't be so bad with the other securities

She loves dogs and not afraid of them one bit. This was my dad's girlfriend's mom's dog. That's a mouth full! Anywho, he is a Pomeranian but shaved so he looks more like a fat Chiwawa!

There's that tassie and blankey!
You see that little fat stomach. That child ate and ate and ate that day! If any of you know what the Snow appetite is like then you will know that nothing around the Snow house will go to waste!
Just a little side note, in additon to walking, she is also saying Thank you, aaahhh wweeeee, no no, mommy, daddu, Ma Ma (madi), EEEEEEEEEE (Ethan) dog, and ish (fish).
I'm so proud of my baby girl. I will try to post a video of her walking when she is in a good mood, she is usually cranky by the time we get home.
Anywho, chow for now!

Spring is here!

Yesterday my one and only son pitched a fit because he wanted to play basketball with the soccer ball out in the drive way, so off I went outside to move my car so that they could play. He is bit of a whinnier (we're workin on that!) so I'll take his picture while he is making an ugly face for black male!! He absolutely hates that, so he'll ask me to take a better picture.....sooooo, this is what I got!
Jackson came over to play a while. We usually do this at least once every two weeks. He really likes to come over and play. I don't know why, they both fight like cats and dogs!

Tiffany was explaining the points and rules and blah blah blah at this point. Like the boys were reallllly listening! LOL

Chloe Grace got after it in her walker. She still has not completely walking by herself, but as we speak she is trotting along in the house.

I think this child is going to put us in the hole with sports. He is interested in just about every sport there is!

Jackson was making some kind of noise in this photo, should have gotten video!

VROOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMMMM! She would roll right on down that drive way!

I think Tiffany was S.T.R.E.S.S.I.N.G. at this point!

Caught in action!

How many points you got Jackson? ONE??

It's nice to just get out and enjoy the nice weather right now. I wished LA would stay that way year round, but as we all know it's gonna get hot quick, so get out there and enjoy it will it last!
