Spring is here!

Yesterday my one and only son pitched a fit because he wanted to play basketball with the soccer ball out in the drive way, so off I went outside to move my car so that they could play. He is bit of a whinnier (we're workin on that!) so I'll take his picture while he is making an ugly face for black male!! He absolutely hates that, so he'll ask me to take a better picture.....sooooo, this is what I got!
Jackson came over to play a while. We usually do this at least once every two weeks. He really likes to come over and play. I don't know why, they both fight like cats and dogs!

Tiffany was explaining the points and rules and blah blah blah at this point. Like the boys were reallllly listening! LOL

Chloe Grace got after it in her walker. She still has not completely walking by herself, but as we speak she is trotting along in the house.

I think this child is going to put us in the hole with sports. He is interested in just about every sport there is!

Jackson was making some kind of noise in this photo, should have gotten video!

VROOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMMMM! She would roll right on down that drive way!

I think Tiffany was S.T.R.E.S.S.I.N.G. at this point!

Caught in action!

How many points you got Jackson? ONE??

It's nice to just get out and enjoy the nice weather right now. I wished LA would stay that way year round, but as we all know it's gonna get hot quick, so get out there and enjoy it will it last!

This time last year

I'm still finding it hard to believe that my little toot is a year old now. These pictures were taken around this time last year at our annual work Easter egg hunt at the zoo. Chloe Grace and Scout were both so little that they both fit into one stroller. Man, where does the time go!?!! I miss holding her soft little wrinkled face self. Don't get me wrong, I know she is still a baby and I really do enjoy seeing her discover and do new things, but I just miss the newness. She is such a hoot these days. Well, I guess that is all for now. I'll have some new things to post later. Have a great evening!

Hangin out at home

Well, hopefully we are over all the sickness! Madi was the only one out of the four that hasn't been taking meds for the last 4 weeks. These are just some random pics of life at home while we were quarantined.
Chloe Grace is defiantly getting braver everyday. She is now 13 mths old as of Saturday. (still not believing it) One of the days we were home the weather was really nice so I opened up the house to allow the air to flow, next thing I know, miss thang is doing this!

One foot over the other! She was very precise in the way she maneuvered her feet over the door way.

I would say, "CHLOE GRACCCCCE", she would turn around look at me then go at it again. She was determined to get outside!

SUCCESS!! She made it, all by herself. She really was sick in this picture, but for some reason our kids don't act like they are sick when they are awake. Any of you have that issue?

She is really into eating all things as well. She really digs her milk, oatmeal, cookies, mashed potatoes, mac & cheese, Cheerios, sweet peas, chicken and GRITS! She had them all over the place, but unlike mashed potatoes, these are a LOT easier to clean up!

NUMMM!

In this picture, she was feelin much better. We were getting our daily meds down and like Mo, we sit on the counter top, it just works for us. She likes taking her meds, don't know why they stink, but she did!

This is the MOST exciting thing to me right now. She is playing PEE PIE!! She is the cutest thing. She gets so excited when she does it that she almost tips herself over. LOL She really likes to play this with her big brother.

See how excited?!! Would you look at those pearly whites! She still is hangin with 8!

So this was a really sick day. Chloe Grace and Ethan were both home as you can see. They were just hanging out watching t.v. eating a snack. This picture reminds me SOOO much of a picture of me and my brother when I was little. I'll try to scan it and post it so you will see. Chloe and Ethan are so funny together.

Can you see the darkness under Ethan's eyes and those rosy red cheeks of Chloe's, they just felt terrible. I'm so thankful that we are over all the sickness now. I PRAY to the good Lord and claim in Jesus' name that they will NOT get sick again!
MO, we miss you :(

RSV=NO FUN!

Well I think I opened my mouth a little too soon when I made the comment that Chloe Grace had not gotten sick yet. Just a couple of weeks ago we had to take Tiffany for an MRI only to find she had a bad sinus infection, then a week later Ethan was at the dr office because he had strep throat and now Chloe Grace has RSV and an ear infections. YEEEESH! What is the deal with everyone getting so sick this year? Look at how pitiful! This picture really does it no justice as to how bad she was feeling. When I got home yesterday she had no color and just looked like she had been ran over by a mac truck.
The meds that she was given was an antibiotic, antihistamine, and breathing treatments that have to be given just about every two hours. Everyone meet "Pico" He helps us give Chloe her breathing treatments. Isn't he cute!

As you can see, no fun what so ever. She fought me a good bit at first, but today she has done a lot better.

She is kinda funny to watch, because you can tell she isn't real sure as to what is going on or what she should do with the thing over her nose, so she licks the air or trying to move her mouth like she's eating the "smoke"

So, guess that is about it from Snow land right now. We have a doctors visit at 8:30 in the morning, pray for good results.

Brotherly Love

So I just about had a complete GOOD melt down because of something so simple. Does it ever amaze you just how God works?!??! Sometimes I just sit in awe of His goodness and faithfulness. He’s ALWAYS right on time never missing a beat.

I’m sure that every sibling relationship is different. Some are really close, not so close, or in the middle. My bother and I are kinda in the middle. I am the older one of the two of us and a little more mature. Growing up I was the “mother hen” and he was my little “chick” He was very quiet and to himself a lot. I on the other hand was loud and always getting into something, imagine that! We just really are on two different levels in the terms of life, goals and what we wanted in life. We try talk at least every other week, even if it’s just a quick “Hey”. He is very close to my heart and I love him so much. Sometimes I don’t think I tell him enough, but I make sure that I tell him before we get off the phone or as he is leaving that I love him.

Today, he surprised me with something so simple but brought such joy to my heart. To be honest, I was really surprised and had to do a double take. So, do you want to know what happened?

I got a text from him saying this “ Whatcha doing? Just wrote to say that you’re the best sister that I could ever have got. Love you bunches and know that God loves you to.”

How special is that?!!

Thank you Father God for your love, your faithfulness and for giving me such a special loving brother!

Laissez les Bon Temps Roulez!!!

In light of the Mardi Gras holiday and with Fat Tuesday a day away, I'd thought I would share our 1st family experience at the Krewe of Janus Parade in Monroe, La. Like my mask?? Ethan made it at school for their Mardi Gras celebration.
Well hello there handsome!!

The kids were really excited, esp the boys. BOY were they something else. Can you see the mischief in Jackson eyes?? OOHHH YEAH! I CAUGHT YA!!
They all decided that it would be fun to do "bunny ears" on each other. They just about fell off the platform. Speaking of which, I must thank my sister-in-law Sheila, http://mylifestarringsheila.blogspot.com/ for getting us "tickets" for the night. We got to "do it right" at the Krewe's Den. We had lots of good food and drinks AND got to get on the lifted platforms. ( This is awesome when you have small childrenz!)

HAHAAAAA! Silly boys

The girls just chilin out watchin the crowd down below. I think they got a few eye fulls...you should have seen their facial expressions!!

There was a gentleman that was oh so nice that offered to take our picture as a family. I wished Sheila had been there to fit in the missing piece of the Snow puzzle.
Ethan wanted me to take a LOT of pictures of him and his mask. He was SO proud that he made it.

This was the 1st float that rolled on by.

Jackson caught a hand full of beads off the first float. He was super excited, but wanted to know why he didn't get more and where the rest of them where!

I thought this was neat. It was the "drivers" for the Clydesdale horses. There were two men and their cute little Dalmatian dog sitting in between them. I just thought it was neat.

And here they are will all their ENORMOUS glory!! These are such beautiful creatures to me. I mean would you look at those "feet"??!

By this time, Ethan is racking up! I really don't think he grasped what the whole thing was about, but he sure was having fun!

This was another float that came by. I thought the butterfly was pretty.

The girls were so funny. They brought plastic sacks to keep all the loot in, but they both broke because that had it stuffed it to the gill. They just kept saying, "LOOK AT ALLLL THE STUFF I'VE GOT!!" "These beads are hurtin my neck!"

So anyways, this was our fun time at the Mardi Gras. For all you folks partyin' it up down in NOLA, be careful and stay safe!

Birthday Celebration!

Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday to you, Happppppy Birthday dear Chloe Grace, Happy Birthday to youuuuuuuuuuu!!
The cake

The greeting table.

The star cookie decorations!

I was so surprised at the number of people that showed up to celebrate the 1st year of my babies life with us. She is such a wonderful blessing to our family and truly does complete us. She has such a sweet disposition and is happy almost all the time. She is so loving and really likes her "mommy" time. One of her favorite things to do is take a bath and ride on her little bunn bunn. She has learned how to wave "bye bye" can say Momma, Daa Daa, Ma Ma (Madi), Bubba, Hey!, Nuh Nuh (no). She has learned so much and is really smart. She has not started walking yet, but is into EVERYTHING! I can tell she really is going to be a hoot!

We started out opening presents....and can I just say WOW! I can't believe at the number of gifts that she got. It took two people to go through all of them at home. It was like Christmas allll over again. I wished I had more room to post all the things she got, but Blogger would prolly charge me for extra space! Timmy and I got her this "BIG" girl cup. Isn't it cute?! I got it off of www.Etsy.com (check it out!) We have not completely weaned the bottle yet, but we are working on it.

She must have loved the cup because she would not let me take it from her. Next it was time to sing "HAPPY BIRTHDAY" and blow out the candle. She did pretty good trying to blow it out, but she was more like "euwwhhhh, look at the light" and tried to grab the candle while it was still lit!

Good job Chloe Grace!

So we removed the top portion of the cake for her. As you can see, she didn't really know what the deal was, but she picked up quickly and figured out that it was something she could put in her mouth and it tasted pretty good!

Is this how I do it mom? YUMMMO!

Think she is enjoying herself?

I think so! She got pretty excited that she could make a mess and eat as much of that cake as she wanted to, and boy did she eat a lot of it!

"What? You want some of my cake? No way buster, get your own! DIS IS MINEEEE!"

As you can see, there wasn't much left! For those of you out there freaking out, no she didn't' eat ALL of it, but she did put a hurtin on that cake of hers!
