I know I know, I'm running really behind on the post, but I just wanted to share a thought or two with you before I officialy started blogging for the new year.
Today our pastor taught a message about letting go of the past and moving forward into the future. I know that I've struggled with letting go of the past, from thoughts, to sins, to hurts, but in Isaiah 43.25 it says: " I, I am the One who erases ALL your sins, for my sake; I will NOT remember your sins.
How awesome is that!? When we ask for forgiveness that is it....we just have to move on. WOW!
So how do we do that you might ask??
Remember some things....but forget other things!
Put God first, make the changes you can, and BELIEVE God to make the changes you can't!
Paul wrote in Philippians........ but I focus on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead.
I didn't make any new resolutions this year. I felt that I just needed to make some life changes, not just a yearly goal. My family and I had a wonderful 2008 with the birth of Chloe Grace and MANY MANY blessing (too many to count) that the Lord has given us. I am so thankful for the family and friends that we have and I look forward to spending another great year with them.
I am really excited and anxious to see what God has in store for us this year!!*

Christmas Day & Evening....
Next...we went to my Aunts house for C'mas lunch. This is my moms mom. Granny. She is always fun to be around.
Madi got hooked up with a lot of girly stuff this year. She is so into the fashion these days!!

I hope that you all had a wonderful holiday season. There were some very unexpected surprises, but we had a great time with friends and family. God has surely blessed us this year.

Tiffany was super excited that she got a gift card to build a bear. That seems to be the "in" thing this year. I'm thankful she wasn't sick this year!!

Chloe Grace got passed to a lot of people that day. She loves her Aunt April. She gets so excited and kicks her little legs and just smiles from ear to ear when April gets her.

My brother brought over his "girly" friend as my dad says. She HATES taken pictures so I had to sneak a few. Of course my brother (being the aggravating kind) thought it was funny!
Kaitlyn had a glitter in her hair for the days festivities. I think I would have put some in my hair too if she had shared!

Bless her heart.....my sweet great grandmother was really struggling. She has been in pretty bad shape and hanging in there since about two C'mas's ago. She just looks so pitiful. I admire her so much!

I can't help to chuckle a little bit looking at this picture. This is my step cousin's little girl. She is a hoot! She kept going from plate to plate to plate to get whatever food she liked from what everyone was eating!! So cute!

Here is miss Chloe Grace with her Nanna ( my mom) The flash was a bit bright for her eyes on this one. Oh, and don't you just LOVE the outfit. The bow is a bit large, but I bought the whole outfit from Etsy.com. I LOVE that site...check it out!
The more pictures I take the more I realize juts how big my baby boy is getting. He is just growing up to be a handsome little man!

Here again is the newest addition to the snow family, Anne Marie. The "new" is starting to fade and you can see her cute little features.
Ok on this picture...lord help us. Chloe opened up her gift from her mamaw which was one of those things you sit on and it spins, ( I know, she is a little young for it) but anyways, well the boys decided it would be fun to BOTH get on it and give it a whirl. Of course, they ended up fussing at each other after it was all said and done!

Chloe Grace's 1st Christmas
This is Chloe Grace's first Christmas, and I believe she really is going to enjoy the whole experience. We started out our Christmas Eve day at the house and then headed to the church that evening for a very special Christmas Eve service.
I took a couple of pictures of her in her C'mas dress by the trees at the church. See that line across her nose? Well, the tv tray fell on top of her. YES! I know, bad mother, I should have known not to leave that in the living room with her pulling up on everything. ...and yeah Nikki, I should have learned from Scouts episode with the tv tray to know better!

She loves that thing! Anyhow, she did good for our little photo session, however, brother was no where to be found. Little stink!
MEEEEERRRY CHRISTMAS
From Chloe Grace :)
Christmas Eve
We started Christmas off at my house this year. With mamaw passing, it was easier for me to do all the cooking and stuff and the rest of the family came over. We had our 1st real tree as a family this year, and since we knew Chloe Grace would be in it, we opted to just have the kids Christmas ornaments for the past instead of the "good" ones.

This year I gave all my family pictures of all of us that we took. I loved the way they turned out and I believe everyone else did too. This is my papaw. I just love him so much!
Dad had a blast playing with is "tator bug". It's so fun watching my parents and grandparents play with my kids. It just makes me think of how things were when I was little.

* I encourage you if you have grandparents, please try to spend a little more time with them. They are so precious and you never know how much longer they have left to spend with you.
Love you mamaw. <3

Trusting God.....
Please say prayers for our family. We had a very sudden and unexpected passing of my grandmother yesterday. This has been so heartbreaking, but we are trusting God even though we do not understand. Thank you.

Bitter Sweet

Ever had those very bitter but sweet moments in life? I can't count on one hand how many I've had, but they do come and sometimes I believe that it's just God's hand working in our lives, pushing us into something new and remembering the past.
Well, today is just one of those days for me. Today is the last day at my "old" job. I've been at CenturyTel for almost 5 years now in the Support center. I started in toll, then to the Exceptions team and now in the 911 group. At first thought "OH Lord, what did I get myself into", but over time, I really loved working the functions and working with the people in my groups. I have made some really dear friends that have touched my life in so many ways, and a couple of them who really have become BEST friends to me. They've loved me and cared for me unconditionally through the years.
So where am I going you may wonder. I'm just moving on to something new. It's still within CenturyTel, but I'll be moving over to the Corporate building starting Monday. I am very excited and anxious about working in a new environment and with a new group of people. My hubby is there too and says that it's just a great place to be. We will get to eat lunch together and car pool again. I do miss that time with him.
With that being said, I'll leave leave these few words for them:
I know that God has a very unique and great plan for each one of us, all we have to do is BELIEVE that all things are possible in Him, be obedient and follow. Working here has been such a blessing for me and I will not be able to replace the relationships that I have made. Thank you to all of you that made my life here a littler easier, those who were kind, loving understanding and helped me whenever I needed it. ( which was often). Each one of you have helped me grow in so many different ways, being of great support. I will be forever grateful for those who have made my life a little better each day. I pray that you just continue to be positive, patient and be encourager's for those here now and those that come along just has you have done for me. Thank you for all that you have been in my life for the last 5 years. I wish you many more great days and don't ever be afraid to "get your feet wet". Trust God, be faithful and he will richly bless your life beyond measure. You will truly be missed!
Much love and God bless!

Who Dat Say They Gonna Beat Them Saints?
Well....we made it back and I must say I had a FABulous time with my hubby. It was really nice to just enjoy each others company and chill out with no worries for the weekend. With that being said, lets see what happened......
I love the Fleur DE Lis. I have them all over my house and also think that it's a neat symbol for our Saint's team.
Oh who is this gentleman? Timmy, Timoteo', the beast, my hubby. We had a really nice drive down there. The weather was perfect and we got to talk with out kids interrupting! I was so proud of the fact that he actually drove, ( most of the way). It was nice to be able to just ride.

Hello there!

We left around 1:30 Saturday evening. I thought it was really neat to see the sun setting over Lake Pontchartrain as we drove over. We missed the really good shot of the sun over the lake because Timmy couldn't get to the camera in time. (I was driving at the time), but I do believe we got some good pics. Isn't it pretty?!

Not him........( well he is handsome) but I was talking about the sun......see.....?

I like this one most of all. I love the old cypress tress with the moss hanging down. I really love the Louisiana heritage and all the things that make our state really unique. I took Louisiana History in 6th grade and it was my favorite history class because there is just so much to our start to learn about.
We ended Saturday night at a restaurant called Serrano's salsa. It's a classy little Mexican place in Metarie. I decided to try something different and chose the fish tacos....and OH MY HEAVENS! IT was SOOOOO good. I've been craving them every since then. They have some really good salsa to. After a nice dinner, we went to the movies and then headed back to my sister in laws for some sleep. It was really nice to sleep ALL the way through the night! :)

Well, this is us at the Saints game. This picture is an "attempt" of mine to get a pic together at the came. Looking around us, I was too "nervous" about asking someone to do it for us.
We had really good seats, and we ought to have considering the cost of them! We were in the plaza level in the right hand corner. It really was a good position to be in.

Think he is happy about his early C'mas present?

Here are a few shots of the opening where all the players come out. See the sparks, confetti and air balloon thingy's?

This picture is of the coin toss and guess who won? Yep you guessed it..US....well not "us" but the Saints.
This blurry picture, but some what decent one, is of Bush getting the 1st touch down of the game. It was so awesome to be in that atmosphere. Can you see him?

OK...this picture..lol....well I just had to take it. This dude was so funny. If you have never been to a pro football game, well then you would not know just how serious and CRAZY people are about the game and "their" players. This guy was dressed in some kind of "MOSES" get up.
Do you know who this is?

Anybody know who this is? # 25?
I'll give you a hint....look at the 1st touchdown comment.

Jimmy, Timmy's twin brother called a couple of times. Here he is talking. Still smiling.
I tried to get a good shot of all of the players in a huddle. I believe this was the Saint's 1st time out. Who all can you see in this one?

If you didn't know, you should know by now, but the Saints did win! HALLELUJAH! The didn't win the last game, so I was really concerned and worried that we were not going to win this one. It was a really close game, but Pierre pulled through for us and it was an awesome win. Here are all the guys out on the field after the game.
