My tootie fruity is 9 months old now!

Can you believe it? I can't!! On November 14th, Chloe Grace turned 9 mths old! She growing so much and learning new things daily. She is a smart lil heifer! She loves to eat just about anything and will spit her paci out FAST to get a drink of whatever daddy or momma has. She gets around good in her walker, so good that she finds ways to get to my plant to play with it. I've moved it like a hundred times and she still seems to move chairs and things to get to it! I can't wait for Thanksgiving dinner for her. It should be very interesting!
In this picture, we are doing are daily routine. Momma gets dressed while baby plays. She doesn't like to sit in the bouncy thing much anymore, so we stand around it, she likes having her own access. She finds the little bits of things on the floor to put in her mouth....and I think to myself..."I didn't see that last time I was picking up the floor, like two seconds ago!" HA!

I had more pictures and a video I wanted to load before I blogged this, but I couldn't get it to load on my computer at home. It's a dinosaur these days. It takes FOREVERRRR loading stuff. Anywho.....

This is my sweet baby sleeping in HER bed. THANK the Lord!! This is a rarity. See her pose? This is how my brother slept when he was a baby. Chloe Grace also likes for the covers to be pulled up over her head. I think she like the security. I know these are not the best pictures, but I wanted to update anyways.

Franken-tastic Friday Night

Happy Halloween to you! We had a very eventful night at the Snow house. I decided that this year, maybe try a new thing, ( hopefully a tradition) and invite a bunch of friends and family over for a chili/hot dog/frito pie dinner! I had about 30 people (including kids) come over for some good ole mingling and feasting . It's a good thing we had two pots of chili! I really enjoy entertaining and wish I had more time to do it more often. People think I'm nuts for putting so much on my "plate" but I just love it! It's what life is all about!

TOOO cute to spook don't ya think?! This lil lady bug was defiantly a sweet treat.

I must admit, she wasn't to fond of the big old black things hanging from her head. She kept trying to catch them and the preceded to swat like a cat swats a bug! You know what I'm talking about!?

I was excited that I got to make her costume this year. I didn't spend very much on it but I think it came out really cute! I LOVE the tutu's that are in style right now! I hope they stay that way for a while.

Pinky Dinky Doo is that you?! What did you do with Lauren?

Lady bug on the run!

" HOLY COSTUME PARTY, BATMAN!" Thank heavens we had our super hero's to protect us from the creepy crawly crazy creatures. (Say that 5 x's fast!) GO WEB GO!

Blinky Blinky she's our clown, if she can't make us laugh then who oh who can?! McKenzie is such a hoot. Sometimes you never know what will come out of this child's mouth!

Come on, Robin, to the Bat Cave! There's not a moment to lose!

Well howdy partner! Hey there rascal! Ready for some rootin, tootin, shootin, round em' up fun?! Yurp, let's mount up! BANG! Got a nutter one!

OH Girls just wanna have fun-un...ohh Girls just wanna have funnnnn! Didn't I say that Madi thought I was totally cool on 80's day?! She wore almost EXACTLY what I did.

Timmy asked where her costume was because she dresses like that almost everyday! Ahh these tweens!

Well, after all the excitement of painting faces, eating lots of chili, guessing who was who and taking about 15 minutes to get everyone together for this photo....we all headed out for festivals and trick or treating. I believe this was one of the best years yet! Hope everyone had a great weekend.

The Pumpkin Patch Part II

This is part II to our Pumpkin Patch adventures! Since the girl were little bitty things, we have made it a tradition to go to the pumpkin patch. There have been a couple of years here and there that we were not able to go, but we do try to go every year. This is another 1st for Chloe Grace. It was rather cold that evening, and she was tired, so she really wasn't feeling the whole "Lights, Camera, Action" stuff! See her little red nose? Here we are as a group. These are rare. There usually isn't anyone to take a picture of us a whole. I asked my sis/bro-in-law to come with us so they could bring my nephew Jackson and soon to come Anne Marie. They helped with the taking of this photo. I can't believe that we are a family of 6!! I still have to count sometimes! Hahaa!
See the sun setting?!I was "running" like a mad woman from work, to home, getting the kids dressed, then back up town before the sun set! As I said before, Chloe wasn't really digging the whole thing, so here she is looking away for our photo shoot together. I believe the boys were running around. "There's a bird!" Mo!

Here are my sis/bro in-law and nephew I was speaking of. Can you see Anne Marie? Not too much longer Sheila. We are expecting the new addition the week before Thanksgiving. YEAH!! I can't wait!

Here is another "attempt" and I use attempt very strongly here. Jackson wanted where Ethan was, and Ethan didn't want to move over, Chloe was in la la land, Tiffany wasn't looking at the camera, it was cold, Jackson couldn't decide what smile he wanted to use.....etc...the list goes on and on...

I hate the fact that I don't have a realllllllly nice camera. You know, the ones that cost a couple G's!I miss all the sweet little faces my sweet Chloe Grace makes because my camera is an old timer,( not complaining) .....still she is such a joy to me and usually does take good pictures. Just a quick update on where she is....we are now crawling...yes crawling!!! eating butter cookies, pulling up and trying to walk around the couch..... a special segment on it's way! Stay tuned!

I'll end with this one. I think this one turned out the best. They are all looking at the camera and smiling. We will be dressing up tomorrow so we shall see how the pictures turn out! LOL

Have a great, safe and happy holiday. Remember to check your kids candy!
I'm cooking Chili for tomorrow night if anyone wants to come by. There will be Frito pie, hot dogs and a few other goodies. Party starts around 6!
Love!

The Great Pumpkin!

Hello there! I have SO many blogs postings that I want to get out, soooo to keep all of them in the correct order, I'll start with this one. Last Wednesday, I went with my sweet man to the Pumpkin Patch. Last year while he was in Pre-k I was able to go with him then and he ABSOLUTELY had a fit. He thought it was the greatest thing, so he was really excited about going back this time. The kids really got a kick out of the lady pulling all the "guts" out the pumpkin. They were all so fascinated that you could put those "guts" in the ground and new pumpkins would grow!

SEE the guts in her hand? Did you know that you could roast pumpkin seeds and eat them? I have never tried this, but think I might.

I rarely get to take pictures with my kids. I'm always the one holding the camera. You who blog know this all too well. I need to invest in one of the fancy smancy Mac computers like Mo has so I can use photo booth. That looks like a lot of fun.

One of the things that I really love about the pumpkin patch is that they have lots of great props for taking pictures. I tried to get him to stand, sit, pose and smile on each one of them.....but....as with any kid, he was more interested in trying to pick the pumpkins up and roll them around...eeesh!

Here, a maze was assemble with the pumpkins. The volunteers at the patch told us that if you were in the sky and were to look down you would see the shape of a large pumpkin. I thought that was very clever. The kiddo's were encouraged to go around and feel the different kinds of pumpkins. Some were white, and pink...YES pink!!...and then there were some that had "warts" and "chicken pox".... as seen in this photo.

Can you tell that something has really got his attention? NOT only his attention, but the other rascals sitting around him....wonder what it could be?

AHHHHH STORY TIME! This kind lady sat down to read them a story. It was a little book about a black cat playing hide and go seek. Each page had a pop up. When you opened the flap, there the cat appeared. The kids loved trying to guess where the cat was hiding, but each time they got it right! Smart little things they are!

AND not to save the best for last, but really it is. Check out these cool orange cream Ore's. The kids only got one. I really kinda feel this is not so fair. It's really just a teaser. HOW in the world can you have ONLY one? Ethan took pride in the one cookie! Savoring each and ever layer. See!!

This is after the fact....that cookie was soooo good, he made sure he saved some for later. Would you look at those beautiful baby blues!!??

I hope that that while the leaves continue to change color, the temperature gets a little cooler, and the feel of the holidays starts to come, that you will take a few moments each day to thank God for the many blessings that He has provided. Every day may not seem like the grandest day, but remember that TODAY is the day the Lord has made. Seek him and cherish every moment. Make sure you hug and kiss your family and let them know how much you love them :) You never know what each season will bring.
God Bless!

Baton Rouge Bound!

OH MY GOSH! I'm sooooo excited. Tomorrow morning I am leaving to go down to ole Tiger Town to a woman's conference at Healing Place Church. Last year was the 1st they had and it was a TON of fun. They had everything thought out so perfectly. Most of all, it really was a time to experience God and to receive lots and lots of encouragement. There were several woman that gave there testimony, and boy.....let me tell ya, sometimes we think we got it bad. They REALLY put some things into perspective. Sometimes, I don't think that enough of us ladies support and help each other grow enough, ya know?! God gave us woman special abilities and strengths and think we just take them for granted. I'm really excited to know what I will get out of this one this year. Last year, I was pregnant and I was just completely a mess mentally. (Those hormones will do it to ya!) Can I get a AMENNN!?? Anywho, I'm really excited ( already said that I know) and ready to go. I hope you guys/gals have a great weekend. Get out and enjoy the weather! Pray for save travels! God Bless!

VRROOMMMM VRROOMMMM!!

This my friend, is what we call redneck racin' around these parts! Would you look at this car? The things that we do for fun! Sunday afternoon we spent the evening at my dad's house waaaaaay out in the sticks. I grew up in MerRouge La, for most of my wee days. I do love the country, mostly because it's quiet, but with kids, I have to be no more than 5 mins from a store! This is my dad and his most famous dirt track race car. He really enjoys tootlin' around with the thing. When I was young, he didn't have one, but we always were at the dirt track on Friday or Saturday nights. He had a few friends that also were into it so it was neat to watch them. It was just the thing to do then in Strop City.

NOW...look closely at these photo's. Do you see that big ole ear to ear grin? Ethan had a FIT in that thing. Dad has a fairly large yard, so he would start at one end of it and GAS it......( this scared the poo out of me) but as for Ethan....he LOVED IT! He would yell "FASTER FASTER...DO IT AGAIN Pepaw!"

This is how fast they were going! The picture was even blurry!

Chloe Grace didn't know what in the world was going one. She just sat in her stroller taking it all in. Notice the passi...we don't leave home with out it!

I love these fall days. It's a good time to just get out and enjoy what God has given us. I encourage all of you to get out and do something outdoorsy. It won't be long and it will be too cold to get outside at all. WAIT a minute...what am I saying? We are usually wearing shorts at Christmas time. Speaking of which.....have you started making your list for Santa?

Flash Back!

OK, so lets face it, STRAIGHT FROM THE HEART.... I know that I am still FOREVER YOUNG, but I WAS born in the 80's. I don't remember much, but THE BIGGEST PART OF ME remembers the tight rolled jeans and the tights with HUGE-nourmas bows in my hair, but WHY WORRY, I think I pulled it off!! Madi thought I was totally cool. This past week was Customer Service appreciation and I STILL BELIEVE that 80's day, was the one day that a lot of people participated! It was a blast from the past! I CAN'T WAIT til next TIME!! HELLO, HAVEN'T WE BEEN HERE BEFORE? Nope...must have been the RED RED WINE talking...... hey..... LET'S DANCE! You know we share this CRAZY LITTLE THING CALLED LOVE! Ryan is a really good friend of mine!
These two were real HEARTBREAKER's. THEY DON'T KNOW how great that hair was for the day....... and guess what?! It's coming back, so HANDLE WITH CARE!

This is Ryan and Mandy. Mandy one the best dress for the day. She is the new STRANGER IN TOWN for our group. THE SEARCH IS OVER I think. She and I fit in perfectly on the team.
SAM SAM, Hey girl!! She is such a SHINING STAR! JUST BETWEEN YOU AND ME, THE LOOK...It ROCKS! This is my BRILLIANT DISGUISE. It took a lot of effort to get that hair to stand up just right. Notice the fingerless gloves? I'm no Material Girl, but I can tell ya one thing.....I can WALK LIKE AN EGYPTIAN? Can you? Just make sure you KEEP YOUR HANDS TO YOURSELF!
Next up....Heather and Ryan. Heather wasn't TOO SHY to break out the two toned wig. I think she was in some kind of Twilight ZONE. Ryan really was SO ALIVE in this outfit. She was REMINISCING on her days with her sister in the 80's.
Cherie Cherie fo fanny, banana fanna fo fanny, fee fi fo fanny, Cherie! Wasn't she PRETTY IN PINK?!

NIKKKKIIIIII! This is another one of my very best-est friends. She had some ON FIRE rocker hair don't ya think! ! A GIRL LIKE YOU, well, they are few and far between. We all have DREAMS, but I believe hers is to be a PRIVATE DANCER!
MICh-sha sha and Kelly....well these GIRL'S JUST WANT TO HAVE FUN! They showed some of there TRUE COLORS that day.
So what do you think? MY OH MY..... I really had the TIME OF MY LIFE. It was a lot of fun. I hope that next year will be even better. I think I might even try the MR. ROBOTO next year! I'll just have to take it STEP BY STEP.....WORD TO YA MOTHA!

DRUM ROLL PLEASE!

Remember this picture?! Well guess what this picture got Miss Chloe Grace!? She WAS placed # 10 in the news star baby of the year contest. Last week the posted a leader board with the babies that were in the top 12. She was placed # 10 at the time. Unfortunately, this allowed parents to get on the ball and get more people to vote for there babies. I was not aware of this at the time, so now, I'm sad to say that she will not be featured in the calender or named one of the top 12 for 2009. I did not know that the contest was still in action the day they posted the leader board. The website said that today( whatever day that was last week) was the final day and I thought she was placed. Anywho, I am really upset about it but, I know that she is a beautiful baby and that is all that matters. Thanks to all of you who voted for my sweet baby girl and to you Becka for taking such an awesome picture! God Bless.

Looky Looky at my toofy!

OK....HEREEEEEE it is. Can can you see them? I know back a little while ago I was saying almost the same thing, but we were deceived! This time folks is the real thang! ! Presenting these two beauties was not an easy task as you can see, but we did it! Time for some good ole nubbin biscuits and cookies!
Chloe Grace is 8 months old today ( by date) I can't believe how much she has grown. It seems that each day she does something new. We still are not crawling, but had to lower the bed this Sunday! :( I told my sister in law ( who is due to have lil Ann Marie in 5 weeks) that she needed to hurry up and get her here because I was getting baby fever! Ain't I crazy...somebody slap me!

OH and just to mention....JUST because she has a LSU outfit on doesn't mean she is a boy! HELLOOOOO see the bow?!
Anywho....she has such a sweet smile don't you think? She just loves to play with her brother and sisters. She really thinks her brother is the silliest thing EVER!

See that sweet smile behind that tassy? I believe we will have problems trying to pry this thing away in the future, we will worry about that later....as for now...IT'S A MUST HAVE!
